With a stunning batch of songs that push and pull at country music's borders, Jerrod Niemann returned with the best album of his career in 2017. This Ride, the singer-songwriter's fourth LP and his first for Curb Records, reminded fans and country radio alike that Jerrod is one of the genre's most engaging vocalists and entertaining performers.
A singer of songs, he delivers a lyric with conviction and emotion, and is just as gifted in the studio, where he nods to history while reinventing the country sound for today's audience. Onstage, he’s a master communicator, and with his continuing support of the USO (United Service Organization), lives with his patriotic heart on his sleeve. But nearly one year removed from This Ride’s release, the relentless creator’s travels are far from finished.
On This Ride, produced by Jerrod with Jimmie Lee Sloas, Jerrod continued the outside-the-lines approach he began with 2010's Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury and its Platinum-certified Number One hit "Lover, Lover." But he did so with a maturity and experience that only comes from a nearly decade-long career on the charts, the road and the radio.

With influences that include Steve Earle, John Fogerty and Roger Miller, Elvie Shane has cultivated a custom sound that features rootsy grooves, heavy guitar licks and gospel-ready vocals. Inspired by real-life experiences, Elvie’s lyrics are packed with heart, nostalgia and hardship with a side of food for thought. His first-hand knowledge working in the mills and on the road have armed the young talent with an effortless ability to relate to the small town working man and paint a picture of American life in a way that is reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen.
Bill Wharton is the Sauce Boss, a slide guitarist and singer known for his gastronomic boogie-woogie, and his Liquid Summer Hot Sauce. He cooks up a pot of gumbo at his concerts and serves it free to his audience. More than a musical performance, the media is "mixed" into a community of sharing. Jimmy Buffett sings about the Sauce Boss in his tune "I Will Play For Gumbo." Jonathan Demme used Wharton’s slide guitar anthem “Let the Big Dog Eat” in his movie, “Something Wild”. For nearly 30 years The Sauce Boss has combined his music, his hot sauce, his gumbo, and his Southern hospitality all over the US, and into Canada, Europe, and Asia. Thousands of gigs. Over 1,000,000 miles on the highway. Countless flights. Tons of hot sauce. Over 225,000 bowls of gumbo served, and he’s never charged a penny for the gumbo.
A gifted singer and songwriter, skillful on both guitar and piano, John Frinzi has built as audience through craft and originality.
An early demo caught the ear of legendary steel guitarist and long time Coral Reefer Band member Doyle Grisham, and their working relationship led to John's first CD, "Into The Dawn." His second album, "Shoreline," showcased Frinzi's versatility as a songwriter and vocalist with many of the songs co-written by Tom Corcoran, co-writer of the Jimmy Buffett classics, "Fins," and "Cuban Crime of Passion." Both CDs remain in regular rotation on Sirius/XM's Radio Margaritaville.
Starting in May of 1999, Doyle Grisham began touring with the Jimmy Buffett Show. He had recorded several albums with Jimmy Buffett over the last 25 years and in February of 1999, Jimmy called him back to do another album with him, that being “Beach House On The Moon”. About a month or so after the album was completed, Jimmy called Doyle and asked if he would be interested in doing some shows with him and his band, The Coral Reefers, Doyle gladly accepted.
Toward the end of 2001, Doyle started doing some show dates of his own, along with his band, “The Bandits”. They played several shows a year, mostly for corporations, seminars, etc.
During the past few years Doyle Grisham has been honored to be asked to come and play at events for several of the Parrot Head Organizations across the country. The Parrot Head Organizations support the Jimmy Buffett style of music and hold their events to raise money for many worthwhile Charities .
In May of 2002, Doyle was honored by being inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame.
For the past 20 years, he has been touring with The Jimmy Buffett Show, along with continuing to do recording sessions in Nashville, as well as at his home studio, while still being asked to play at many Parrot Head Organizations’ events during the year.
Roger Bartlett is known to many as the original guitarist in Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer band. In the early days it was Jimmy and Roger; two acoustic guitars and vocals. Also significant on his list of credits, he is the writer/performer of “Fool for a Blonde,” a/ k/a the Sidewalk Café song, from the classic cult horror movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
As a singer/songwriter/lead guitarist Roger leads his own band delivering blues-based original music. It has elements of Rock, Blues and Funk, with a flavoring of Jazz. His distinctive voice, lead guitar work and twisted sense of humor, make his music unique.
